Keeping a Roof Overhead, Lights Turned On and Food on the Table
Our project targets single mothers struggling to provide their families the basic necessities of shelter and food. Mothers will be identified for this project from a home visit conducted by oiur volunteers. The project provides assistance with housing and utility payments and food from our pantry and garden, and requires attending two budgeting classes. Our volunteers w2ill work with the mother to devise a plan
for financial stability, provide feedback and support, and assist with payment of housing and utility bills as needed to keep a roof overhead and lights turned on while they work toward self-sufficiency.
